Surespan is the market leader in innovative design and manufacture of roof hatches, access covers and ladders all built to order. This coupled with the ability to provide ceiling & wall panels and our maintenance free roof handrailing system, we pride ourselves on offering the complete ‘Access Package’.

Surespan provide a full range of access covers for internal and external uses, ranging from 5kN/m ² to 158kN/m ² live loads, available in standard sizes or custom made for the individual needs.

Surespan products are made to a modern design and manufactured in a high-tech environment to close tolerances. The standard access covers are constructed with a strong aluminium extrusion frame and feature a special Gas Spring Assisted Balanced Action, making the opening and closing easy – and that means smoothly, efficiently and safely.

All Surespan Access Products are available polyester powder coated to any RAL colour.

News from Surespan

Nov 2007

Surespan is proud to have been selected as the manufacturer and supplier of all the stainless steel fire hydrant access hatches throughout the new St Pancras International Station. This follows the success of similar projects at London's Stratford and Ebbsfleet Stations.

April 2008

Surespan has supplied remote control 140 degree opening hatch doors for the Kielder Observatory, the UK's latest astronomical facility in the north of England.

Surespan has been chosen to design and manufacture all the access hatches for the new £22 million British Antarctic Survey research station, Halley VI, in Antarctica, where scientists will be based to carry out research on the ozone layer.
