Surespan ‘Zip’ Heavy Duty Access Ladder System
A retractable loft or roof access ladder, incorporating anti-slip treads, counterbalance spring action and mounted on a 600 x 200mm plywood headboard. 
Type ZIP4 – ceiling height up to 2500mm – minimum aperture 600 x 700mm.
Type ZIP5 – ceiling height 2501mm – 2790mm – minimum aperture 600 x 750mm.
Type ZIP6 – ceiling height 2791mm – 3090mm – minimum aperture 600 x 800mm.
Type ZIP7 – ceiling height 3091mm – 3390mm – minimum aperture 600 x 850mm.
Type ZIP8 – up to 4600mm ceiling height, complete with a wooden casing 240 deep and trapdoor built to dimensions of the ceiling opening. This should be specified NBS L20/630.
Options include handrails to either side of the ladder, wall mounted rungs, vertical storage and electrically operated.
The Zip ladder system is also compatible with the Surespan Roof Hatch range (See Surespan NBS Plus page linked with L20/630 for details).
