HIAC Recessed Access Covers

HIAC Recessed Access Covers Surespan balanced action internal covers are designed to cover a wide range of applications and finishes; from patterned tread plate to carpet or vinyl tiles through to recess for timber, ceramics, concrete or walk-on glass.

Featuring gas spring assisted operation these covers offer fingertip opening of the lid.

Internal covers can be provided with a water catchment channel and drain point, making them suitable for use in wet areas such as swimming pool walkways etc.

The standard range is made in aluminium with the option of stainless steel.

Rated up to FACTA Class C vehicle loading.

Features

	Tee Lock Standard method of opening lid from above. Brass plug protects internal cab lock keyway.			Slam Lock Grade 316 stainless steel slam lock standard on all gas spring operated covers.
	Hold Open Stay All gas spring operated Surespan access covers are provided with hold open stays. Designed to lock into position when the lid is fully open the hold open stay guards against accidental closure.			Cam Lock Additional locking device to ensure positive sealing.
	Access Ladders Often supplied with access covers, we manufacture ladders in aluminium, stainless steel and galvanised steel.			Locking Box Surespan integral locking boxes are a regular feature. Specify a locking box where additional security is required.
	Electrical Interlock (Micro switch) Can be provided where there is a reqiurement for remote alarm indication or automatic light switching.			Safety Grill/Ladder Extension Safety grid combination ladder extension is a popular requirement.
	Drainage Connection Surespan external access covers can be fitted with a optional tailpiece drainage connection adaptor for use with 10mm bore tube.			Viewing Window Sureview® glass specification: Sandwich of 10mm outer toughened and heat soaked float with 2mm clear inter layer and 10mm laminated inner. Polished edges all round.
	Retractable Hand Hold The optional retractable hand hold improves the safety and convenience of ladder access.			Fire Rated Surespan access covers can be rated for 3 hours fire resistance for integrity to BS476: parts 21 and 22: 1987.
	Sound Insulation Surespan covers can be provided with excellent sound reduction of up to 45db Rw, measured in accordance with ISO 140-3: 1995 and rated in accordance with ISO 717-1: 1997.			Powder Coated All Surespan access covers are available polyester powder coated to any standard RAL colour.
	BioCote Finish Surespan access covers are now available with a BioCote finish. BioCote is a specially formulated powder coating, with all attributes of conventional powders plus the ability to inhibit the growth of fungi and bacteria that contact the surface. www.biocote.com
