CAD drop down ceiling access panels are designed to fit into any type of ceiling system, allowing easy access into the void above.
The frame surround provided enables the panel to be inserted directly into a clear structural opening and screw-fixed into position through the side of the panel frame.

Manufactured from 1.2mm and 1mm Zintec Steel, with polyester powder coating, matt white RAL 9010 20% gloss. The removable door has a sliding pin hinge used to fit the door to the frame and is secured using a standard budget lock. (Alternative locking options are available). Standard range only, fire rated version see appropriate details. Note: the access panel may require extra support and bracing to allow safe operation within the ceiling system. Surespan CAD.A drop down ceiling access panel, designed with concealed beaded frame and plasterboard door to be taped and skimmed on site.
A beaded frame surround is provided, which enables the access panel to be inserted directly into the clear structural opening, and screw-fixed into position through the side of the panel frame prior to the wet finish being applied.
Manufactured from 1.2mm and 1mm Zintec Steel, polyester powder coated, matt white RAL 9010 20% gloss. The plasterboard-clad door has a sliding pin hinge and is secured using a standard budget lock.
One hour fire rated versions have fire resistant board and a sliding pin hinge. For integrity to BS476: parts 21 and 22: 1987

Surespan CAD.B ceiling access panel is designed with a beaded frame to be taped and skimmed on site to fit into any type of plasterboard ceiling systems allowing easy access above.
A beaded frame surround is provided, which enables the access panel to be inserted directly into the clear structural opening, and screw-fixed into position through the side of the panel frame.
Manufactured from 1.2mm and 1mm Zintec Steel, with polyester powder coating, matt white RAL 9010 20% gloss finish. The flush metal door has a sliding pin hinge and is secured using a standard budget lock.
One hour fire rated versions have fire resistant board, smoke seal strips and a continuous metal hinge. Frame depth will increase to 65mm when a three-way locking system is used.
Surespan Budget ceiling access panel is manufactured from 1mm Zintec Steel. The door is secured by a chrome slotted cam lock, which can be opened using a coin or screwdriver.
Standard sizes only up to a maximum 600 x 600. Non-fire rated.
