	Glazed Pavement Smoke Vents

Surespan PaveVent - pavement smoke vents are designed with a pan type lid and structural bond system which provides a slim sightline as standard.

Standard system performance will cope with light maintenance loads right up to heavy pedestrian and traffic loads.

PaveVent walk-on panels incorporate a multi laminated upper loaded leaf designed in accordance with EN1991:1:1:2000, EN497 and FACTA requirements.

Walk-on panels incorporate a specially formed anti-slip ceramic, permanently tempered onto the glass surface which can be printed in custom patterns or in standard line and dot patterns.

Solid Top Floor Access Covers

Where light transmission is unnecessary, plain floor access covers with a non slip applicant infill can be provided for horizontal smoke ventilators such as those for ducting or shafts from lower basements.

Recessed floor access hatches are rated from FACTA Class A - C. Manufactured from stainless steel and operated by stainless steel gas springs, 24v DC actuators or hydraulics.

The access hatch is not watertight however if a self draining hatch is required please specify. Any water passing the seals will be dispersed via an integral drainage channel which is fitted with an optional internal or external ¾ inch flexible hose adaptor (for connection to drain by others).

Non-Slip surface coating

Surespan floor access covers can be manufactured using calcined bauxite, a special surfacing material which has been independantly tested and proven to provide high friction contact. It has been specially developed to provide an aesethically pleasing, high durable surface.

Suregrip is available in on any size floor access cover and can be customized for any application, logo or signature which can be provided in a range of colours.
