SRH Roof Hatches

SRH Roof Hatches Surespan SRH single or double leaf roof hatches are manufactured in aluminium with an optional polyester powder coated finish. Each SRH is insulated against heat loss and condensation to maintain the thermal integrity of the building. Weighted sound reductions can also be incorporated.

The gas spring assisted opening lid is supported by heavy-duty aluminium hinges and features an integral ‘wrap over’ edge, incorporating double unbroken EPDM seals. The upstand has a purpose made flashing to accept the roof felt to make it weatherproof. The hatch also incorporates a safety hold open stay to prevent against accidental closure. Various locking options are available.

Now available with built-on handrail for added safety.

	Glazed Access Hatches All Surespan hatches can be provided glazed. Specify a double glazed sealed unit with toughened glass on the outside and laminated glass on the inside.			Safety Grill/Ladder Extension Safety grill/ladder extension provided for safety and convenience, acting as a barrier or ladder extension when upright and a security grill when folded down.
	Handrail Support Handrails can be fitted to assist entry and exit.			Retractable Hand Hold The optional retractable hand hold improves the safety and convenience of ladder access.
	Louvered Hatch Ventilated access hatch with louvered panels on four sides.			Twin Colour Cover Twin colour access hatches are becoming a very popular option.
	Insulation Performance Surespan hatches are designed to offer a high level of thermal insulation against heat loss and condensation, the standard hatch is filled with 25mm of CFC and HCFC free insulation.			Upstand Variant Surespan access hatches are supplied with a 200mm upstand as standard. However, we can produce any height or raked upstand to suit your requirement.
	Fire Rated Surespan access covers can be rated for 3 hours fire resistance for integrity to BS476: parts 21 and 22: 1987.			Acoustic Performance Surespan hatches can be designed to offer excellent sound reduction of 45db Rw, measured in accordance with ISO 140-3: 1995 and rated in accordance with ISO 717-1: 1997.
	Powder Coated All Surespan access covers are available polyester powder coated to any standard RAL colour.			BioCote Finish Surespan access covers are now available with a BioCote finish. BioCote is a specially formulated powder coating, with all attributes of conventional powders plus the ability to inhibit the growth of fungi and bacteria that contact the surface. www.biocote.com
